EXTRA MILE DOG RESCUE: is a 501(c)(3) no-kill organization in Central Virginia. We rescue abused, abandoned, and homeless dogs including those who may have behavior issues that can be rehabilitated. The Extra Mile Dog Rescue uses foster homes to provide sanctuary and training in a loving and caring environment. We offer resources to companion animal guardians that can be used to help them keep their pets in their own home.
